Hey Friends!
Well I think I told you last week that the Square is slowing down, now all we see are Sisters hunting people down lol!
Fall is so beautiful here! The weather is getting a bit chilly and the trees are changing colors!
There will be so many changes next transfer so I hear! So the Sisters won't be running the mission office anymore. :(
The senior couples will be taking over, so there will be tons of Sisters on the square.
I will be getting a new companion next week, I feel like I just got to know Sister Lopez! She will probably be going outbound, I am so excited for her!
So last Relief Society Sister Robbin Bonhaum from the Relief Society General Board spoke to us! She talked about "hanging in there" and that our patience will pay off! Later that night we had a lesson with a member present and his name is M. It was in Spanish (I did not know what was going on) but it turned out really good! They have the desire to learn more and we are teaching them again tomorrow night!
So I have been on a lot of exchanges this transfer due to the fact the my companion is the Spanish Coordinator! I have learned a lot from all the sisters that I have been with! For example, to just be bold! It's hard for me but I am trying!
This past Sunday the focus was on remembering our worth as a child of God and that if we cannot ~ how can we teach others of their worth. Sunday was really great!! And also to have more meaningful prayers.
So I guess for the last thing... something that I learned the most this transfer is that it is important to have fun!
I love you all and hope all is great!
Sister Tuckett
Called to Serve!
Transfers are next week. She will find out Tuesday what changes will be happening on Wednesday. So.. she might not be writing until --- I don't know when! If her preparation day gets changed from Wednesday we might have to possibly wait until the next Monday or Tuesday to hear from her.
I asked her for some ideas for Christmas...
Makeup (mascara, eyeliner, blush), nail polish, earrings, more "over the knee" socks (I got her a pair and she loves them!)
Pillowcases (she likes Holiday/seasonal pillowcases....) BUT!!!! On this missionary momma's group I am in..... I WON 2 Christmas pillowcases for Abby and her companion!!! The gal making them lives in Salt Lake and is going to hand deliver them to her in December! SSSHHHHHHHHH DON"T TELL HER! It is a surprise!
Oh,, she also told me to start buying up lots of Hallmark Christmas movies so we can watch them when she comes home NEXT Christmas!
She would love more letters from everyone! She also likes receiving talks from past General Conferences or whenever.
Brenda Cummings went to Temple Square and found Sister Tuckett and Sister Lopez!
Here are some pictures that Sister Tuckett sent today...
Some of these were from a couple months ago.... Her old companion is in them.
Apparently they LOVE Farr's Ice Cream!
These are from her MTC days... since her camera card got lost in the mail she is slowly collecting pictures from other missionaries who were there with her.
This one is her first companion at the MTC who went to Canada for her mission
and the other 2 sisters (in front) are at Temple Square with her!
Outside studying!
Your guess is as good as mine!
Sister Freeman went to Canada and the other 3 went to Temple Square!
