Today is transfer day for the Nampa Mission. Sister Tuckett wrote a SHORT email saying... sorry ~ no emails today. So,, I am grateful to know that she is okay and that I got a couple pictures this week from other people!
ADDITION: I received a letter today (April 14, 2015) from Sister Tuckett!!!!
Mom, I seriously don't want to come home! There is no life after serving... it's my new life. I never feel like I am good enough to stand in place of the Savior but I love testifying of Him. God KNEW I needed to change my life around by focusing on others and what they need in life.
I NEVER want to take my tag off ~ NEVER. It is me, it is Abby Tuckett. I am made new because of it. I am so blessed, I want others to find it! I do hate change but it is a part of life. I am going to miss Emmett. Bishop B. sent a text saying "I love both of you. I am glad you are here." I love working with the members, they make me excited to work harder! I will have to come back and visit soon when I get home. so many amazing life long friendships!
Temple Square is the BEST mission, with the Idaho Nampa Mission close behind! ;-) I Love serving by the temple, so much peace and strength! I cannot believe God chose me to serve in such a special place, to serve with amazing sisters and leaders! He has a plan for me! He knows how I can grow and BECOME what He NEEDS and wants me to be!
I am BLESSED to have the Gospel in my life. I wouldn't change/trade it for anything! He also gave me the BEST family! He knows you, me, Dad, my sisters, He knows my companion. He knows & wants His children to be HAPPY. He wants to bless us with ALL He has!
I WILL NEVER DENY WHAT I KNOW!
It breaks my heart to see others fall away, to not accept truth, having no open mind or heart.
Mom, I love you and Dad! thanks for being a missionary to ME! It has FOREVER changed me!
KNOW that missions change LIVES!!!
Love,
Sister Tuckett

Received a text from someone in Idaho.....
"We just love your daughters! Thanks for sharing them with us.
They talked to the YW tonight about missionary work."
After receiving that text I had Sister Pritchard's mom's phone number!
Received this picture from Susan James from when Sister Tuckett
was serving in the west gate on Temple Square.
Got ANOTHER surprise text on Sunday from someone in Emmett...
"We just love your daughters! They are marvelous young women.
I would adopt them but you might object.
Thank you for sharing them with us!"
They invited us to stay with them when Sister Tuckett takes us to Emmett to visit after her mission! (I was going to ask Sister Tuckett their name today!)
Sister Tuckett will be going to the mission home to spend her last days in the Idaho Nampa Mission then will fly back to Salt Lake City!
I am sure it will be bittersweet for her....
