Hello!
I am back on the Square! I love it, there are so many new things going on and tons of new sisters! The weather has been very beautiful and the flowers, wow ~ are gorgeous!
So I am back at the Beehive House with my new companion, Sister Hernandez from Canada, who also just got back from serving her outbound in Wisconsin! We have taken so many Spanish and French tours together in the past 6 days! (Sister Hernandez speaks Spanish and French)
I will admit that I miss Emmett, but it was great to have that short experience! Time is flying by and I have heard that it just gets faster when you get back from outbound. :(
I recently have gotten back in contact with one of my recent converts. Carrie was in India for some time and it was hard to keep in touch but she is back in the states. We were able to call her yesterday and chat.
We were in the Assembly Hall the other night and a young man walked in. He looked sad and sat down. I went to talk to him and asked what brought him to the Square. He said "I don't know, I am an Atheist." We talked for a little bit, he said that he wants to know that there is a God and he wants to be happy. I invited him to stay in contact and to read the Book of Mormon... He accepted! God really prepares those that are searching for truth and happiness!
Sorry that it is short but there will be more to come!
Love you ALL!
Called to Serve
Sister Tuckett
I told her we have a box of food to bring her.. with some of her favorite things "Made in Oklahoma" and she said "thanks! I have just been eating cereal and bagels!"
Her camera died. She told me not to expect many pictures now. I guess I will be buying her a new one and taking it to her when we get to see her in a couple weeks!
