Hello!

So the mission has changed a lot... for the better! I am trying to get the hang of how things are ran now but it sure is helping the mission become more effective. :)

We have IPADs now! I did not see that coming. It is very convenient to show our guests where to find the websites, to show them videos, and have the whole gospel library with us all the time as we walk the square.

I am serving at the Beehive House again, so excited and wondering what God wants me to learn this transfer! I love serving in the home of not one ~ but 3 prophets! I have never loved history so much in my life! I always have the desire to learn more!

We are trying to find new people left and right! The resources help us so much and we teach those we take on a tour or just contact! I love the Idaho Nampa Mission but the Best mission is.... Temple Square!! I don't want it to end, I think I could extend for the rest of my life!!

I just want to share a thought that one of my friends shared with me. He said "It is important to show our love because if we don't show our love, we don't love." I have been thinking about that lately and how I can do better to show my love for others and thinking of them and their needs and desires. Christ the perfect example of love, always gave and showed his love to all. We need to do a little better to love those around us!

The gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives! It brings joy, peace, and purpose into a world full of darkness.

I love you ALL! Keep up the work and exercise 20 seconds of INSANE courage and share the gospel with someone!!

No pictures this week as her camera is dead.  I have to get one purchased to give to her next week when we get to SEE her on Temple Square!!!!  I am so excited!!!!!   I told her I have a box of some of her favorite foods from Oklahoma.. she said I could bring MORE if I would like to and gave me a long list!  I told her I have a BOX... and she said we could drop the BOXES off for her!  ;-)  Guess we will be hitting the grocery store before going to see her to fill another box!

She said she LOVES her companion!

She gets to Skype with us on Mother's Day since they have iPads on Temple Square now!  Before they could only call because there were not enough computers for the 220 sister missionaries serving there to all be able to Skype.

Here is a video that a missionary momma made and put on youtube.  Look for Sister Tuckett!!!

Today is transfer day for the Nampa Mission.  Sister Tuckett wrote a SHORT email saying... sorry ~ no emails today.  So,, I am grateful to know that she is okay and that I got a couple pictures this week from other people!

ADDITION:  I received a letter today (April 14, 2015) from Sister Tuckett!!!!

Mom, I seriously don't want to come home!  There is no life after serving... it's my new life.  I never feel like I am good enough to stand in place of the Savior but I love testifying of Him.  God KNEW I needed to change my life around by focusing on others and what they need in life.

I NEVER want to take my tag off ~ NEVER.  It is me, it is Abby Tuckett.  I am made new because of it.  I am so blessed, I want others to find it!  I do hate change but it is a part of life.  I am going to miss Emmett.  Bishop B. sent a text saying "I love both of you.  I am glad you are here."   I love working with the members, they make me excited to work harder!  I will have to come back and visit soon when I get home.  so many amazing life long friendships!

Temple Square is the BEST mission, with the Idaho Nampa Mission close behind!  ;-)  I Love serving by the temple, so much peace and strength!  I cannot believe God chose me to serve in such a special place,  to serve with amazing sisters and leaders!  He has a plan for me!  He knows how I can grow and BECOME what He NEEDS and wants me to be!

I am BLESSED to have the Gospel in my life.  I wouldn't change/trade it for anything! He also gave me the BEST family!  He knows you, me, Dad, my sisters, He knows my companion.  He knows & wants His children to be HAPPY.  He wants to bless us with ALL He has!

I WILL NEVER DENY WHAT I KNOW!
It breaks my heart to see others fall away, to not accept truth, having no open mind or heart.

Mom, I love you and Dad!  thanks for being a missionary to ME!  It has FOREVER changed me!
KNOW that missions change LIVES!!!
Love,
Sister Tuckett

Received a text from someone in Idaho.....
"We just love your daughters!  Thanks for sharing them with us.
They talked to the YW tonight about missionary work."

After receiving that text I had Sister Pritchard's mom's phone number!
We got together for lunch the next day and took a picture to send to our daughters!!!!

Received this picture from Susan James from when Sister Tuckett
was serving in the west gate on Temple Square.

Got ANOTHER surprise text on Sunday from someone in Emmett...
"We just love your daughters!  They are marvelous young women.
I would adopt them but you might object.
Thank you for sharing them with us!"

They invited us to stay with them when Sister Tuckett takes us to Emmett to visit after her mission!  (I was going to ask Sister Tuckett their name today!)

Sister Tuckett will be going to the mission home to spend her last days in the Idaho Nampa Mission then will fly back to Salt Lake City!
I am sure it will be bittersweet for her....

Hello!

So this past week has been the greatest!! There are baptisms coming up and Conference was just what I needed!

Some of our less actives and investigators have broken homes and marriages. It is sad to see how much Satan and his followers are working on families. But the focus in conference about families was so perfect!!

But I would have to say that Kevin W. Pearson was one of my favorite! He talked about Enduring to the End ~ ETTE!! It was a great reminder of the Lehi's dream! How ETTE brings about true conversion! "The Book of Mormon, read it Everyday, Everyday, Everyday!" I have gained a stronger testimony of the Book of Mormon since I have been on the mission. I can truly see how it changes lives and hearts as truth comes from every page. "The Church is true the book is blue!"

I feel like when it always come time to email I cannot think of anything to say! I will miss Emmett and the Nampa mission. I am only here for the next week and then head back to the Square for summer time!! I have heard that they have changed a lot of things!

I had an interview with President Cannon last week and I just kinda broke down when he asked me about my time in the Nampa mission. I will miss the people and such but I will still be able to call and email them from the Square.

I also received an email from President Poulsen saying that they are excited for me to return and to share the things I learned outbound. It honestly has been some of the best time serving outbound. I have stretched and experienced things that weren't available to me on the Square!

I love the work! I don't want to come home! It has changed me for the better and it will continue to bless the lives of God's children!!!

I love you ALL!!!
