Wow time flies! I cannot believe I am about to start my second transfer next Wednesday!
I have learned a lot the short time I have been out in the field. I have learned a lot of patience, not only with myself but with Heavenly Father. I know He knows the big picture and He knows what's best!
So we had a Zone meeting this past Wednesday and we shared what we learned most and I talked about being Patient. I just began crying and I couldn't talk. Finally I said that serving a mission has been the hardest thing I have ever done. But it is extremely fulfilling! One of my Zone leaders and my district leader is returning home. I grew so close with them and it will be sad to see them leave. They are from the East- Philippines and Taiwan.
Yesterday after Relief Society the APs (Assistant to the President) announced where some of the sisters were going to serve outbound. There are 20 leaving on Tuesday! I began crying, I have only been here 6 weeks and I have grown to love every sister here and all of the 20 I know very well so it was a bitter/sweet moment!
Our phrase we use most often with each other is "The church is TRUE"! lol For example yesterday a sister asked us to get her 2 Chinese referral cards so that she could give them to her tour that they were taking through God's Plan. We ran downstairs and when we handed them to her she said "The church is True" I love these sisters! I couldn't ask for a better mission!
So I talked about a new investigator last week I believe her name is Carrie. Well we have been teaching her and I was so scared to ask her but last night I invited her to be baptized. Now remember this is over the phone. She didn't hesitate... she said YES!!!! Sister Moran and I looked at each other, muted our phones and began screaming!! We are so excited for her! She has been learning with an open heart and mind! God does place people in our paths that are prepared to hear the gospel! AGAIN THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!!!
I have been blessed with so many things! God does love me, He loves all of His children and I can see it more clearly now that I am doing His work!
I miss and love you all!!
Oh I announce on Sunday after The Music and the Spoken Work! So you could see me on the blog... I am terrified but it will be fun!!
AND...... I come home December 16 not the 23!!!! ( I have updated the countdown clock!!!!)
This really is the BEST mission!!
