Best Trainer Ever!

Hello Everyone,
I made it to Temple Square yesterday morning! We had R.S (over the Restoration- so good we were are crying) it was the best way to start off the mission then we talked with Pres. Poulsen and his wife and the APs. Mom guess what!?! You know the blog that you had me read about Sister Briggs and her experience in the TMSQ Mission.... well she is one of the APs. She is crazy sweet and amazing!

So after we met them we had to fill out paper work and have an interview with Pres, wife, and APs to get to know us and to be guided as to whom our trainers were going to be. The mission office is in the Square so we see the Pres all the time which we are so lucky, other missions don't have that opportunity. We didn't meet our trainers till 1:30- we were anxious waiting. So there are 15 new sisters that came in with me. My friend Sister B. and I were the last two left to find out so they asked us both to come up to the front and had the last two trainers come up and we had to close our eyes and the APs placed us in front of each other.

My trainer is from Mexico! Her name is Sister M. She is the sweetest, most kind, helpful, patient... well I could go on. She is perfect for me. She has a strong testimony and I love that she demonstrates exact obedience. The MTC was a bit more lax but I am learning!

It's hard but I have the best Mission. The sisters know all the other sisters and some of them ~ ok ~ all of them come up to me and introduce themselves and ask you are the one from Oklahoma?? Hahaha they know about me before they meet me. I feel really loved and blessed to be with such an amazing bunch!

My P-day for the next 6 weeks will be on Fridays! So I would love to hear from everyone!

I live in the Apartments right off TMSQ right next to the Conference Center!!  The atmosphere is just amazing! We taught Patricio from Mexico last night on the phone. The conversation was in Spanish so I introduced myself and at the end I bore my testimony about the Book of Mormon! He told us that we were special and he's getting baptized July 12!

I just want to leave with you that I know that God lives and that He loves me and that this mission was meant for me. I've been told it's really hard but worth it. I know that temples are extremely important and that God loves us so He placed us in families to have happiness in this life and the life to come. Families can be together FOREVER!

I love and miss you all!

Love Sister Tuckett

P.S. Best trainer EVER!!
