Wow! Seriously one of the best weeks! Alright to start off, the work is pressing forward! One of our investigators, Bob, from Africa got baptized this past weekend. We didn't see that coming, he was on date for Sept. 12. We tried calling him all week but he never answered so we sent him an email. He wrote back saying that he couldn't wait any longer and he was so busy with preparing for his baptism! He is a miracle! God helps us find those that are prepared!
Also, I went on some amazing exchanges with the sisters in my district this past week! I have some of the best sisters! They are just wonderful! I have grown a deep love and respect for them! Every single exchange I learned something new from them. We met some Anti's and that was an interesting experience!
We had a training meeting for all of the leaders in the mission this past Saturday and the theme was becoming like Christ. We studied the Christlike Attributes and have a little discussion about what we learn. President talked about the little things that we are asked to do is to help us become. Refinement is the key, and through that process we experience many things but the choice we make whether good or bad effects who we become.
Oh and to wrap this up, Elder Cook just thought he would like to visit our sacrament meeting this past Sunday! He talked at the end, he shared his testimony about how the mission prepares us for greater things! We all have a mission to fulfill in life and these 18 months will bless us forever!
I love you all, I love this work! My testimony and faith strengthens everyday! What we do how we live is an example to those around us. Become who the Savior wants you to be!
