Hello Everyone!

I am honestly really sad that this transfer has come and gone! Serving with Sister Alliaud has been one of my best yet! I have learned so much with her and with serving as a District Leader. But seasons come and go and we are called to serve in new areas and with new people! I will now be a Zone Leader and my new companion is from Brazil! I am looking forward to serving the Lord and the sisters in my zone in this capacity.

I did enjoy my Birthday! It was great to spend it with the mission! Thanks for all of the birthday wishes!

Sister Alliaud was so excited this past week, her 1st investigator from Argentina got baptized this past weekend! It was so cute to see her happy dance! Lol

We had the opportunity to go Elder Scott's funeral yesterday. The square was closed until 1 pm. It will be interesting to see who will be called to serve as apostles this weekend. I am so excited for General Conference!

Some of us had the chance to go to the General Women's Conference! I loved it all! One thing that God has given us is life. Sister Wixom said, "There are two important days in our lives, the day that we are born and the day when we find out why!"  It is so important for us to know who we are and why we are here. This life isn't just a vacation but it is a preparation for a happy eternity.

I know that my emails have been getting shorter and shorter, well ~ they will continue to get shorter! Lol  These last 2 months will be busy, busy with service! I will come home and share everything!

I love you all!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are having a wonderful week! I am sad that this past transfer is almost gone! We find out about what is happening next transfer on Monday! I am going to miss Sister Alliaud!

So a little about this week! We went to the temple! It was great! It is such a great opportunity that we have on Temple Square to go to the temple and then to begin to teach others about it on the temple grounds! What a blessing!

I also got to announce on Sunday! It was fun! Before we started, a lady came up to me and asked if she could get a tour for her group of 28 people from Virgina! I said yes and we took them on a tour afterwards! They had so many great questions and we could have spent forever answering them, well we kinda did! Many other people joined too, and a couple from England and they were so interested! At the end of the 45 minute tour they said that they loved it and they felt the spirit! All of the ladies in the group came up and gave us a hug and we took pictures with them! The lady who asked for the tour said "I knew that we needed you to take us around and no one else!" Temple Square is such a great atmosphere to teach and testify!  One of my favorite tours! Wonderful people!

And yesterday! Dad ~ I am happy to tell you that we took a family of 4 on a tour and they were from Bolivia! (Dave served his mission in the Bolivia La Paz Mission)  I was so excited! I told them that I would go one day! Two of them gave us their contact information! They want to learn more and go to church when they get back home!

It has been a good week but also a very trying week! Almost all of our recent converts are going less active. They don't have the strong desire to be a member anymore. I have cried a lot trying to think of how I can help but what I have been feeling is that they need time, they will remember the feeling that they had when they were baptized and remember why they chose to get baptized in the beginning. Agency is a gift and all we can do is love and support them in it! God has a plan and in it he has provided us with learning experiences that shape us and lead us back to the path, but at times we take our own way. He lets us do our own thing but in the end He will help us back!

I love the Gospel, it changes hearts, it changes lives, and it changes everything as we LIVE IT!!

I love you all! Have a wonderful week!

She only sent these 4 pictures this week.  PROMISED ME more pictures next week!

She is filling out her departure papers!  It is getting closer!  She isn't ready to come home yet, though!  She loves her mission!!!

Just as we were about to end our emailing I saw that Elder Scott (one of the 12 Apostles for our church) passed away today.  She had not heard about it yet.  This will be the 3rd apostle in less than 6 months.  Most of the sister missionaries are able to attend the funeral.

Her district!
She is the district leader over these sisters.

Part of her zone at their picnic at the park a couple weeks ago.

So it has been awhile!

Lots of new things going on.  We have been having leadership meetings today and the rest of the week on how we can get the local missionaries more involved and helping and inviting those that we meet on the square and teaching center to act, to have the desire to change and follow Christ. It was great, we all received some revelation and how we can help our sisters apply what we learned!

This past week we had 2 baptisms. Samuel from Idaho and Jhiael from SLC! We had the opportunity to attend his at the U! It was fun! It was in Spanish so I didn't know much of what was  going on, but the Spirit was strong! We are planning on 2 more on the 26th. God is preparing his children!

We took a tour Sunday morning with a lady named Alice from Brazil! She was so receptive to the spirit.  We went  through God's plan (talking about families and how they can be forever through the temple). We gave her the copy of the BoM and The Family Proclamation, she was so happy. She wants to learn more and meet with the local missionaries!

The square is slowing way down, lots of walking around with people that say "No" and walk away. LOL   They have been talked to like 20 times by the sisters and have no more time. I am looking forward to Christmas time when we have the lights and then tons of people are here.

I will really miss serving here, it has been just a wonderful privilege.

Remember we succeed when we invite others to learn more, but when we don't, we take away that agency that God has given us all.  Help others know that this message can and will bless their lives. In helping one come unto Christ we help thousands of others! YOUR EFFORTS MATTER!

Love you all! Have a great week!

President Nelson (Quorum of the 12 Apostles) made a surprise visit last Friday morning!  The sisters were given about an hours notice and told to drop everything and come to listen to an apostle!   "He talked about how special we are and the work and then just Q and A."

Package of sunshine I sent her.

Jesse Durney's friend from his mission in Idaho, found Sister Tuckett on Wednesday.

And... Aunt Sarah wants to win the prize for seeing Sister Tuckett the most!

So I think I told you Bob from Africa got baptized last week, and another, Samuel from Florida and we have 2 that are supposed to get baptized this Saturday and one more next week so 5 baptisms.

Everything is going great! I love sister Alliaud! I am learning a lot too! Oh I wish I had a picture, but we saw a man that literally looked like Jesus this week! Like his hair and outfit and everything and then we met a women who told us that she was Jesus' wife and we also met Moses! (17 year old boy who was talking about the end of the world)  Funny stuff but it is so sad too. I am sad thinking that I will only have a couple more weeks with Sister Alliaud. :(

We as a mission are doing a 5 K challenge we have 8 weeks to prepare, but I don't know how much I can do with my knees. (Her knees are hurting her pretty bad again.)

Well that is all I have for now :)

Wow! Seriously one of the best weeks! Alright to start off, the work is pressing forward! One of our investigators, Bob, from Africa got baptized this past weekend. We didn't see that coming, he was on date for Sept. 12. We tried calling him all week but he never answered so we sent him an email. He wrote back saying that he couldn't wait any longer and he was so busy with preparing for his baptism! He is a miracle! God helps us find those that are prepared!

Also, I went on some amazing exchanges with the sisters in my district this past week! I have some of the best sisters! They are just wonderful! I have grown a deep love and respect for them! Every single exchange I learned something new from them. We met some Anti's and that was an interesting experience!

We had a training meeting for all of the leaders in the mission this past Saturday and the theme was becoming like Christ. We studied the Christlike Attributes and have a little discussion about what we learn. President talked about the little things that we are asked to do is to help us become. Refinement is the key, and through that process we experience many things but the choice we make whether good or bad effects who we become.

Oh and to wrap this up, Elder Cook just thought he would like to visit our sacrament meeting this past Sunday! He talked at the end, he shared his testimony about how the mission prepares us for greater things! We all have a mission to fulfill in life and these 18 months will bless us forever!

I love you all, I love this work! My testimony and faith strengthens everyday! What we do how we live is an example to those around us. Become who the Savior wants you to be!
