So this transfer is coming to an end and I am so sad!! I just wish I could be with Sister Nevil for the rest of my mission! She has taught me so much, I honestly think she trained me, I needed her! I am lucky I got her for 2 transfers, you normally just get a companion for 1!
The previous week we were able to have a Zone Conference with half of the mission. It was so good! The focus was loving ourselves and feeling that we are successful missionaries. And we went over the BEST conference talk ever known to man! Matthew chapters 5-7. The Sermon on the Mount! We bore testimony of the things that we learned as we studied. We also talked about the strength of the church. When President Hinckley was interviewed by a well known journalist, he asked Pres, Hinckley what makes the church so strong and his reply was," The strength of the church is the strength of the millions of individual testimonies of it's members." That is so true! We know what we know because of our faith, are obedient and go to the source of all truth and knowledge - God. In the end it all comes down to our testimony.
So we had some fun stories this week. It was a hard week let me tell ya! So we were in the South VC when a guy tries to steal the IPAD that controls the videos on the TV. So we had to call in for some assistance. We had some anti's that came through and lots of people that did not want to talk to us. Some of our investigators are struggling and I cried while Sister Nevil talked. Thank goodness for her! But to end with a good note... we had 2 ASL tours!! Everything happens in God's way and timing!
We all know that families are super important and is central to God's plan! So remember/think of how much you love them and make time to spend with them! Family Night/Family Home Evening was inspired by a Prophet of God!
I love you ALL, have a wonderful week!
Called to Serve
Sister Tuckett
She didn't send me any pictures this week but I still got a few from other people!
They were suppose to go to Brighton Girls Camp but it was cancelled because of chance of rain.. and then it didn't rain. So she was kind of bummed that her half of the mission didn't get to go this year. She loved it last year!
I don't know these sister's names but I am sure grateful for the picture!!!
CeAnn Whitehead went to Temple Square on Monday
and waited around for Sister Tuckett and Sister Nevil
to come out on the Square!
Thank you for waiting CeAnn!!!
(Her son is serving here in Oklahoma!)
