The first full week of my last
transfer in Idaho is gone... so sad!
So our goal for this transfer is
getting the ward more involved and excited about doing missionary work! We have been talking with the R.S. (Relief Society) WMLs (Ward Mission Leaders) and the Bishoprics!
They seem to be on the ball but now we are having to brainstorm on how we can
help the members! Since I haven't really worked with members before outbound, I
sure have been learning a lot from Sister Pritchard! She loves to work!!
So we had a lesson with Billie at the
Bishops house with him and his wife! She has been struggling with feeling
Heavenly Father's love for her. So that
is what we were focusing on this time! We
could tell that she could feel the spirit and his love for her! He helped her better understand how she can
recognize his hand in her life. So we
challenged her to write down some of the things throughout the week that she
could see his love for her. She loves
the gospel, she just needs more help with understanding/recognizing the spirit.
So Calvin Grover here in the South
Slope ward just got home from his mission from the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission. He ended up serving in Bartlesville and he
said that he know the Tuckett’s up there... such a small world!
Well hump day has come and gone! :( I
cannot believe it! It would be nice if
sisters were able to stay out for 2 years.... The life of a mission is hard but extremely
rewarding!! Super grateful for this
opportunity!!
Hope all is well, love you all!!!
Called to Serve
Sister Tuckett
Not much other info..
Sister Pritchard went to cosmetology school before coming on her mission so today she is going to trim and color Sister Tuckett's hair! She PROMISED me pictures for next week!
I asked her for pictures.. so this is what she sent me!!!
HORSES!
I couldn't figure out why she would have her hand down a horses mouth!!!!
Come to find out ~ it was Sister Johnson.. ..
who they had dinner with and who is a horse dentist!
who they had dinner with and who is a horse dentist!
She didn't give any explanation for this picture....
And of course,, she had to send pictures of the skulls!
Then she sent this beautiful picture..... Pretty cool!
Then I asked her again for pictures of HER!!!!
Silly girl!
This was her OLD district.. She didn't send one of her new district.
Silly Sisters!!!
When Elders have their "hump day" ~ 1/2 way point of their missions ~
they burn a shirt.
Apparently when sisters meet their 1/2 way point they do a "pregnancy" picture.
Yes... Sister Tuckett is half way through her mission now!
And FINALLY... a Normal picture! ;-)
Sister Pritchard and Sister Tuckett
Happy Sister Missionaries!
