Well, here is a SHORT letter today.. she only had 30 minutes and all of a sudden had to leave to go somewhere!  She said she would send what she had written.  So, here it is!

Time is coming to a close way too fast! I am going to miss the Emmett Valley, it is turning green and the cherry trees are in bloom due to the warm winter!

We worked so hard! We taught so many lessons and shared the new Easter initiative “Because He Lives.” It is a short video that shares the story of Christ's last week before His crucifixion. It truly helps us remember His love for us and his willingness to give his life for all.

We met with the Babb family and we made some really cool crossbows out of hair clips and popsicle sticks and q-tips were used as the arrow! Sister Pritchard and I had a war afterwards! So fun!!

We taught Sharing Time in the East Valley ward and we talked about Prophets! We had the kids come up to the front and pick up a cup with a  .....................................

She told me to finish and fix it!!!  I don't know how to finish it because she didn't tell me what to fix it with!  ;-)  So... your guess is as good as mine!  She said she is going to send me a letter, but her letters don't get here until Friday and I will be in AZ by then!  Hope she remembers to send it there.

A few things I did get out of her...

The 3 baptisms are still on for next week!

I asked her if she was going to be sad to leave Emmett in 2 weeks.  Yes, she has really grown to love it there.  But,, she is also ready to go back to her "first love" ~ Temple Square!

A little more St. Patrick's Day fun!

A little beat up from playing soccer and volleyball...

Sister Krauss and Sister Colby serving in nearby wards.

Going on splits with the STL's.. (Sister Training Leaders)

 Sister Tuckett and Sister Wright

Her first time to gather eggs!
She said it was kind of scary because the chickens would get right up in her face.

She loves Sister Pritchard!

She loves her Emmett Valley!

Here is the link to the Easter Video Sister Tuckett talked about in her "note".  Please take a couple of minutes to watch about our Savior's life and ministry.

Hello Everybody!

This past week has been a blast!!

We have been finding new investigators left and right!! The work is moving fast here in Emmett!

Billie W.  has been hesitant in getting baptized, but she has now calmed her fears and has a date for April 10!! And the Carpenter family has a date for April 11!

The Letha Elders ended up giving us a referral, her name is Ines. She is 15 and she was introduced by her friends in her high school choir class. She is super cute and she told her friends that she wants to get baptized... her mother is less active but wants to come back to church.

Last Wednesday we were asked by the Letha ward to come and talk to the Young Women about serving and preparing for a mission!!  It was such a great experience! We started off introducing ourselves and then we talked about what missionaries do and some things to prepare. We ended up doing a role play for them and showing them how to answer questions that their friends might have and we taught the first discussion to them (The Restoration). We talked about sharing the gospel in their everyday life and how that can help them prepare to serve. When we asked them who all wanted to serve ~ they all raised their hands! They were such a great group!! Lots of great Sister missionaries coming our way!

On Thursday we went to Billie's house to help her with yard work. I ended up mowing... haven't done that in forever it seems... I had Billie start it up for me! Her mom doesn't like the church and she was nervous for us to come over but she ended up loving us and she invited us to come over for dinner!! Service can really help us get into homes to share the gospel. :-)

Friday we had Sister's Conference and the theme was "The road of life is ALWAYS under construction." That life is never going to stay the same it will always be changing. President and Sister Cannon had their daughter and niece come and share their mission experiences and how the mission had transformed them. We also talked about how we can love and serve our companions! My favorite thought was "My life is my message" What I do is who I become.

And Saturday night we had a family fun night with the East Valley ward! It was a dinner and game night! I hadn't played a game in like 10 months... We ended up playing one of my favorite games.. phase 10 and I ended up winning! Billie played with us and I heard that she was a pro. She said "Sister Tuckett, I was just going easy on you!" It was fun!

Well that was a bit about the past week! I love the mission, it has come to the point where I don't want to come home.

I love sharing this Gospel with my brothers and sisters, because it is true!

I love you ALL!  Miss ya!

Hey there!!

So we had lots of crazy awesome experiences this past week!
One day we had just come back from meeting with the Bishop from East Valley (Bishop B).  We were just driving along and singing our little hearts out when Sister Pritchard said "we need to talk to her." Me, "WHO?" I didn't have any idea who she was talking about. There was this lady that was walking on the side of the road. We parked to catch her but she turned the corner on the other side of the street. So we got back in the car and seriously drove past her 5 times trying to find a place to park!  lol This lady gave us a couple of faces, like what are these crazy girls doing... hehe.  We finally we found a spot and tracked her down! We talked to her for a little bit and invited her to learn more. She said that she wasn't interested, we gave her our number and left. Even though she didn't accept our invitation we knew that we needed to talk to her, She has our number so hopefully sometime down the road she will have a change of heart!

We had another lesson with the C. family! We invited them to be baptized!! They have a baptismal date for April 11!  We are so happy and excited for them!! The kiddos are 12, 10 and 8!  They are looking forward to that special experience! BJ (12) he said that he already feels like he is baptized.. how cute is that!  Heavenly Father is preparing his children!

We also went tracting in this little trailer park and no one seemed to be interested, they all KNEW about Mormons! Then we met this cute older lady! She was sweet and happy and invited us to sit with her. After a couple of minutes she said "Now let's talk about your religion." Sister P. and I looked at each other like - uh oh! She began talking about how the church is a lie and lots of false things... We just sat there taking it. She said that we were brain washed and that our families are cursed and are going to hell as well as us. It was sad and heartbreaking to see how hard Satan is working on our brothers and sisters. The most hurtful thing was that she said that we have NO way to receive revelation from God.  We both thought about it afterwards, expressing how it strengthened our testimony not destroying it.

One of our dinner appointments fell through at the last minute so we ended up calling our WML (Ward Mission Leader) from East Valley. They lovingly invited us to join them for dinner and they took us out for Chinese food! It was so good! But the conversation was the best! We talked about how much Heavenly Father loves us and knows each of us! And much more, but it was nice talking about why we are here on earth and that we are willing to sacrifice our time and talents to serve each other. To help others remember the decision they made before they came to earth!

What a great week! I love this beautiful valley!!! Emmett is the best!

Love you ALL!!
