Hello!
So this past week has been fun, with preparing the Square for Christmas! We met a lot of people and had some friends find us at West Gate. The lights are so beautiful from our view of the Square.
Two of our investigators got baptized last Saturday! Their names are Daniel and Crystal S. Their son Daniel also got baptized but we never taught him. They are such a beautiful family!!
Sister Ennis met them about 2 transfers ago. They have 4 children but not married. So unexpectedly, they called and said that they got married and that the next week (last Saturday) that they were going to get baptized. They didn't want to keep putting it off! They are AWESOME!! We got to attend the baptism and I finally got to meet them!!
Temple Square is truly a place for searching souls to come and ponder. This past week we have met many less active return missionaries that have been struggling when they come home. We have been thinking a lot on how to help them remember their purpose and regain their testimony. Preach My Gospel not only is a tool for us missionaries and members to gain the knowledge and skills to be successful teachers but to become converted. As Elder Holland states, "There are too many young people returning home without becoming converted."
It has been a special week due to Christmas and that I have a wonderful Companion to share this season with! We have been taking lots of pictures and sharing experiences. We were both nervous to call home.. We didn't know what to talk about but it was a fun experience.
The best part about Christmas is that we gathered together as a mission later that day and some of the sisters narrated the nativity from Luke 2. Along with that Christmas hymns were sung between. It was so peaceful, we could tell that the spirit was brought to the devotional. Christmas isn't about gifts and more. It about love, about Christ and his divine roll. Focusing and remembering him shouldn't just be once a year but every day ~ every minute. He saved us all from both physical and spiritual death. Believe that you can change and become as him. He loves us and so does our Father in Heaven. John 3:16
I hope that you ALL had a wonderful Christmas season! Continue to enjoy it and I love you!!
Called to Serve!
Sister Tuckett
The mission devotional was Christmas day in the afternoon. Later that evening a ward in the Salt Lake area provided them with a ham and potato dinner that Sister Tuckett said "was so yummy!!!"
My cousin's (Blaine and Janie Ker) friend found Sister Tuckett at Temple Square! December 22.
Aunt Alisha, Uncle Matt, Cameron, Cassidy, and Kennedy found Sister Tuckett....

Here are the pictures Sister Tuckett sent today!
Crystal, Daniel and Daniel III at their baptism.
They are usually allowed to only go to baptisms that are 30 minutes or less away..
They got special permission to go to this one which was 45 minutes away!
After the baptism they stopped off at In-n-Out for a burger!
Their names/pictures on the mission board..
A friend of Sister Ennis gave them some bread.
An investigator named Jay gave them matching hats!
They love mint chocolate gelato!
Sister Ennis had mentioned to her mom in a letter that they were almost out of tortillas...
so guess what she found in her package from home! "MISSION" tortillas!
Here are their trees and presents!
Here are the stockings I sent them...
Sister Ennis must be kind of scrunching her stocking up a bit..
it is actually the same size as Sister Tuckett's!
Opening up ~ or should I say ~ UNROLLING her present from Aubrie!
Matching pajama pants & socks from Sister E's mom!
Your guess is as good as mine as to why they were outside in their pj pants taking pictures!
Showing the snow on Christmas morning I guess!
Christmas stocking with goodies from the Mission!
Blankets with the Salt Lake Temple on it from the Mission.
